SPORTS AUTHORITY OF ANDHRA PRADESH
Athletics Centre of Excellence and Academies for multiple sports
How TENVIC helped the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh promote and standardise education across multiple sports.
SAAP’s needs
A partner to strengthen the athletic capabilities of its youth across the urban and rural parts of the state
- Standardised sports education
- Repeatable coaching models and sporting manuals
- Certified coaches
- A tiered approach to finding talent
TENVIC solution
State-wide grassroots sports education model
To meet SAAP's ambitious needs, TENVIC designed a hub-and-spoke model for education across two dozen sports.
As part of this program, all students had access to international coaches, nutritionists, recovery/rehabilitation, medical insurance, specialised training camps, apparel and kits. Many elite athletes also got exposure to domestic and international competitions.
